Where to Read My Poems
Potted Purple Magazine - 2020
Equinox
Written for Issue 5 of Potted Purple, What Else is Out There, "Equinox" is a celebration of the sun and the moon with hints of Greek mythology and a heaping of nature and its beauty. You can read it here. (It's on page 70!)
Teen Belle Magazine - 2020
when the screaming stops
Written for Teen Belle's incredible Reclaim issue, this poem focuses on lingering anger, sadness, and resentment. The issue, which focuses on trauma and healing, is available for purchase for $4 USD or INR 100 here.
Teen Belle Magazine - 2020
people-watching in plague times
In this poem, I write about the uncertainty I see in the U.S. during the COVID-19 pandemic, and wonder about the world in the aftermath of this year. You can read it here.

the moon and her dying earth
This poem is up on Teen Belle's blog, covering despair about the future, motherhood, willfulness and strength in the face of adversity. You can read it here. Enjoy!
Update: This poem has been nominated for the 2020 Best of the Net Anthology! Wow!
you asked me on the floor of your living room at 4 am

Pussy Magic Magazine - 2020
in which A. told the world
This poem also appears in Pussy Magic's Bi Babes issue. I wrote this poem about a betrayal of trust, of secrecy - which always stings, but even more so in love. Check out the incredible issue here.
Oceans & Time - 2019
"if you asked" and "sleep-talking"
These poems appear on Honey & Lime Lit's blog Oceans & Time. "If you asked," draws connections between flowers, death, love, and the morbid, while "sleep-talking" imagines a sentimental picture of the future. They are two of my most treasured poems, and are always the ones I like to show others. You can read them here.
Rose Quartz Magazine - 2019
You Told Me IÂ Didn't Exist
I published this poem in the now-defunct Rose Quartz Magazine, which celebrated writing about womanhood, tenderness, queerness, and love. "You Told Me I Didn't Exist" focuses on a love I felt that others didn't understand or want to understand. You can read it here.
Firefly Magazine - 2018
Svanhild
"Svanhild" is the first poem that I got published - I was beyond exhilarated to get an acceptance for the first time ever. I wrote this poem about my Great-Grandmother Svanhild, a Norwegian immigrant, and based it largely on my mother's stories of her. Though Firefly Magazine is inactive now, you can read my poem here for free in Issue 13.
